Tony Winner Kelli O’Hara and Keegan-Michael Key Join Netflix Adaptation of All the Bright Places

The screen adaptation of Jennifer Nivens’ New York Times YA best-seller about two high schoolers coping with mental illness will co-star Elle Fanning and Justice Smith.
Netflix has greenlit a full-length adaptation of Jennifer Niven's’ 2015 YA best seller All the Bright Places, which will feature Tony Award winner Kelli O’Hara in a cast including Alexandra Shipp, Keegan-Michael Key, Luke Wilson, Virginia Gardner, Lamar Johnson, Sofia Hasmik, and Felix Mallard, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Elle Fanning and Justice Smith co-star in the unlikely love story about two high schoolers struggling with mental illness whose lives intersect at a crucial moment.
Fanning also produces the film that has a screenplay by novelist Niven and Liz Hannah. Brett Haley (Hearts Beat Loud) directs.
Filming is underway in Cleveland, Ohio.
