Adam Guettel and Craig Lucas' new musical Days of Wine and Roses has set a world premiere at Off-Broadway's Atlantic Theater Company, with performances scheduled to begin May 5 and continue through June 25. A date for opening night is to be announced.

Tony winner Kelli O'Hara and Brian d'Arcy James will lead the cast as Kirsten and Joe, respectively, with Michael Greif at the helm. The story follows a love affair between an executive and a secretary and their attempts to get past their shared alcoholism.

Adapted from the 1962 film and a 1958 teleplay, Days of Wine and Roses is somewhat of a Light in the Piazza reunion. Guettel and Lucas previously collaborated on the 2005 musical, with Guettel winning Tony Awards for his score and orchestrations, and Lucas receiving a Tony nod for his book. O'Hara starred and was Tony-nominated for her performance as Clara.

The production will feature scenic design by Lizzie Clachan, costume design by Dede Ayite, lighting design by Ben Stanton, sound design by Kai Harada, and orchestrations by Guettel. Kim Grigsby will serve as music director, with Antoine Silverman as music contractor. Casting is by The Telsey Office, and Judith Schoenfeld will be production stage manager.

The production is being presented in association with Alchemation and Mark Cortale, indicating a commercial transfer may be in the works.

Tickets will go on sale February 2.

Spent way too long on Poki last weekend — started with one puzzle game and ended up trying like five different ones. Everything loads right in the browser which is nice when you just want something quick without installing anything. The variety is honestly what keeps me coming back.

I came across this page while looking through Australian casino destinations and was curious about the Brisbane angle. The description of the casino floor immediately gave me a better idea of what makes the venue locally distinctive. star casino brisbane mentions electronic gaming machines, blackjack, baccarat, roulette, poker and dice games, while the online section adds live dealer gaming and digital slots. I also noticed that the site spends quite a bit of time on dining, nightlife and resort facilities. That caught my attention because people often associate casinos only with the gaming floor, whereas this page presents the destination as part of the wider Brisbane entertainment scene. The Australian and Queensland context is consistent throughout, and the CBD location gives…

Guettel's score for The Light in the Piazza is one of the most gorgeous of the century, so hearing O'Hara and d'Arcy James tackle his take on this classic film is a dream pairing. I've been following the production news on https://video-to-video-ai.com/tools/text-to-video

It is always exciting to see legendary performers like Kelli O'Hara and Brian d'Arcy James reuniting for such a complex musical adaptation. Bringing Adam Guettel’s intricate score to life requires an incredible level of emotional depth and vocal precision, especially when tackling material as dark and tragic as this story. I was recently reviewing a case study for a mentorship assignment writing services Australia module on talent management and creative execution in the performing arts, and seeing how top-tier artists collaborate to navigate challenging thematic roles aligns directly with these production dynamics. Having cast members who share a long history of artistic trust makes a huge difference in handling complex character arcs smoothly. It really shows how high-level collaboration drive…
